Except where expressly agreed in writing or other durable medium "Hello Brolly" and/or it's trading names hereinafter will be referred to as "the company". Every quotation, receipt, invoice, price list, e-mail or other document, issued by the company and all sales and supplies made by the company to any purchaser, are deemed to be in/or on a subject to the following terms and conditions:

Returns Policy

Under consumer contracts regulations an item may be returned or cancelled within 14 calendar days from the day after you receive the goods, and sent back to us providing it is in it's original condition (with all tags attached and packaging in useable condition). You must notify us in writing, by email or letter of your intention to cancel, stating the reason for return, we will then organise a way to return the item with you (the purchaser).

The purchaser is under a statutory duty throughout the period of cancellation to keep possession, and take reasonable care, of the item(s). The item(s) can be removed from packaging for inspection, however we will not accept items for return under consumer contracts regulations that have been damaged or used by the purchaser.

Outgoing delivery costs are non-refundable, and postage costs for the return of a cancelled item is to be paid by the purchaser. When returning the item(s) the purchaser must take reasonable care to ensure that the goods are not damaged in transit (we recommend using the original packaging that it was sent in). If the purchaser does not exercise reasonable care and the goods are damaged, the company will claim against the purchaser for breach of this statutory duty.

Returns cannot be accepted without prior authorisation. When we have received the item and have checked that it is in the original condition, as sent, we will then issue a refund excluding the original delivery costs. Returns that are unused and returned for a refund after 14 days will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Item(s) that have been previously inspected by the purchaser, and in due course sent to the purchaser or collected from the company, including at events and shows, are not eligible for return under distance selling regulations.

Lingerie & Hosiery

All returns must be unworn, unmarked, in original packaging and containing all tags and labels (in the case of hosiery the packet must be unopened).

We are only able to accept returns on under garments containing knickers, briefs or shorts where the item has been tried on over your own panties, and, where applicable, the hygiene seal hasn't been removed. This does not affect your statutory rights.

The items must be free from smoke and other odours. Reasonable care of the goods must be taken whilst in your possession.

Faulty Items

We check all items before posting, but if an item is faulty or damaged on delivery please contact us with details, then we can provide you with return or replacement information. Any faulty or damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of receipt. 

On some occasions we may ask, if it is within the customer's means, for the customer to provide video or photographic evidence of the fault instead of returning the umbrella to the manufacturers, if this is not possible then the item will be, without any cost to the purchaser, returned to the manufacturer for inspection, and items found to be defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within the first 3 months of invoice date will be replaced or refunded in full. 

For Umbrella purchases please note: We will not accept returns for wind damage, this is a natural circumstance, and damage caused by the wind does not constitute a manufacturing fault. Everyday wear and tear is also not covered by our returns policy.


The company reserves the right to vary it's current price list at any time without prior notice. Items will be invoiced to the purchaser at the price ruling at the date of payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing or other durable medium by the company in advance.


All items must be paid for in full before despatch, or collection by the purchaser, unless otherwise agreed in writing or other durable medium by the company in advance. The company will not supply items on a sale or return, guaranteed sale, consignment or approval, except where agreed by the company in writing or other durable medium in advance.

Liability of the Company

No warranties, undertakings or representations are given by the company in respect of the items other than those contained herein or otherwise imposed by the law. The company shall not be liable for any statement or expression or opinion by it's staff or agents of the purchaser with respect to the uses to be made of the items.
