 I ♥ Rain Umbrella - £ Currently
OK this is definitely the 'ironic' umbrella. Apart from the odd (very odd) few, nobody loves rain, but, if you really think about it, it's the umbrella's message to the world, not your's. Get ready for my skewed logic: If there were no rain, there would be no need for brollies, then this umbrella (and me!!!) would be out of a job, and then what would the poor thing do. It could try being a cruise liner for hamsters or a fruit bowl for giants, but as far as I know hamsters don't fancy cruising the Med, and true giants are in short supply since Jack and his ruddy great plant came along. It really doesn't bear thinking about, all those poor umbrellas with no place in life, so to show your support just take a moment with me to shout out "I LOVE RAIN!" Now for the technical bits♦ canopy diameter: a whopping 93cm♦ length: 90cm from handle to tip ♦ fibreglass ribs (with these it can blow inside out, and then flip back, with no breaking. Cool or what!) ♦ 1 button automatic opening ♦ frilled edging (great because husband definitely won't nick it) ♦ pongee fabric (sounds exotic, but it means it's fabricy not plasticy, I know you know what I mean) ♦ fabric crook handle Tweet |
